I've been having similar problems, specifically with fonts downloaded from the Google Fonts web site. Font Manager shows it as being installed. Here's Illustrator using the font correctly and Corel showing the wrong version AND not allowing me to change it to the correct version. It greatly increased the ease of use of working with hundreds of pages in my workflow but that one feature isn't enough to keep me using this version in a production environment.Īnd no, the font isn't the issue.

I would try using another font manager to keep using this version but if there's a chance that Corel might decide to automatically convert to Arial with no warning, then a font manager is useless. It did but it also converted all of that text to curves. One of my designers had a Panose suggestion to switch from a TTF to an OTF version.

Install the Gotham font using Windows, open Corel and the file again for the correct font to be opened properly. Then it wouldn't allow me to change the text to Gotham in the program. I manually selected Gotham from the drop down and it still opened using Arial. It showed Arial being the Panose suggestion. It happened with Gotham on a particular file. It just opens and hopefully you notice the switch before hitting save again.Īnother issue is having the Substitute Missing Fonts dialog window open but not seeing the correct suggested font. The best thing about FM is the ability to install fonts automatically through the Panose matching but it straight up doesn't work. Multiple fonts are unusable through Font Manager. The fonts manager is totally broken in my opinion. This is more of a post of hope that Corel sees this and tries to fix it but it won't matter in the short term since I'm reverting my department back to version 2020.
